Panda Gas Distributor Initivative.

An initiative created by like-minded young Papua New Guineans to reduce poverty in Papua New Guinea, has seen the launching of the Panda Gas distributor last Friday at Wabag in Enga Province. Panda Gas Distributor is a reseller of Puma Gas, distributing it to thousands of homes in Enga Province. It is an initiative created by Paradise Development Consultancy, under its community programs.

UNDP: 37% of PNG population lives below national poverty line.

According to UNDP’s poverty reduction program, 37% of PNG’s population lives below the national poverty line. PDC becomes the Oceania hub for Poverty Stoplight

Paradise Development Consultancy has partnered with Foundation Paraguay to initiate their Poverty Stoplight program in PNG and eventually the Pacific region. The launching was attended by Dr. Martin Burt (CEO and founder of FP), Hon. Alfred Manase on behalf of the Prime Minister and other important senior figures in PNG. Working together with PDC, the aim is to alleviate poverty using the Poverty Stoplight technology. "We look forward to partnering with government agencies, organizations, NGOs and churches that are already engaged in poverty alleviation programs" says Mr. Shane Ipatas, Chairman of PDC.
